Cheray is the owner of Connections Wellness Studio and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). She uses her 25 years of experience in hands-on sports therapy and biomechanical assessment to help determine the best massage therapy technique. Combining her higher levels of myofascial training and deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and active release stretching, she has uniquely developed her own style of injury specific sports massage and rehabilitation therapy.
Cheray enjoys helping educate clients on how body awareness and movement are most important for injury rehabilitation and the key to recovery. Massage therapy is one way to break up scar tissue, holding patterns, and help with the stress of getting over trauma , guarding patterns and chronic pain. Learning what massage techniques work best during stages of healing along with learning proper, safe strengthening, stretching exercises through exercise rehabilitation helps prevent incorrect movement patterns and bad posture and keeps the body moving pain free.
